Perris lands first In-N-Out.

In-N-Out Burger is coming to Perris.

The Irvine-based chain has closed escrow on a site at Interstate 215 and Nuevo Road and has started pre-construction work, according to a statement on the city’s website.

No construction timeline or opening date was announced, but an In-N-Out restaurant reportedly opens about nine months after the groundbreaking.

“This is a long-awaited development and a testament to the work of our city council, our staff and our community stakeholders,” City Manager Clara Miramontes said in the statement. “We are grateful to see this project come to fruition.”

Founded in 1948, In-N-Out Burger has nearly 400 locations throughout California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, and Colorado, none of which are franchises, according to the company’s website.
