Physician receives leadership award

Prem Reddy, the well-known physician, entrepreneur and philanthropist, has received the 2018 Inland Empire Leadership Award from Claremont Graduate University.

Reddy was honored during recent Industry Day festivities, an annual event that examines “how innovation is shaping information systems and technology world,” according to a statement.

This year’s event was sponsored by the Center for Information Systems and Technology, a division of the university that teaches software development, data based systems, networking and other disciplines.

Reddy has spent much of his career reviving struggling hospitals, while also donating hundreds of millions of dollars to healthcare causes, according to the statement.
