On this week’s episode of “Professionals of the Inland Empire” (PIE) podcast, Kathleen McEntee and Lisa Anderson join host, John Tulac to discuss commerce, collaboration and community.

Supply chain management spans from the customer’s customer to the supplier’s supplier, covering all processes, including everything from raw material extraction to the final product and software plays a crucial role in modern supply chain management. Lisa Anderson, a supply chain management expert from LMA Consulting assists clients in navigating uncertainties to maintain profitability and customer satisfaction, preparing supply chains for various scenarios, including volatile times, high growth, and necessary cutbacks.

Anderson has branded herself as a strong link in supply chain management by diagnosing and solving problems proactively. In today’s environment, being a thought leader involves staying ahead of trends and offering insights that help clients gain market share and increase profitability, focusing on technological advancements, talent management, and continuous process improvement.

Kathleen McEntee helps organizations define their identity, services, and competitive advantages, aiming to keep the client’s product or service top-of-mind for prospective customers. Marketing has evolved significantly, including, how employees are now brand ambassadors, necessitating internal brand communication.

Software can automate newsletters and social media posts, but mastering these tools is essential, and sometimes, professional assistance is more effective. McEntee notes the increasing need for message repetition due to information bombardment, requiring a message to be seen more than 21 times to move from the back of the mind to the top of the mind.

McEntee and Anderson, who have been working together for quite a long time, originally met through Provisors, a professional networking group.
