Alejandra Ramirez has been named the 2023 outstanding undergraduate student on Cal State San Bernardino’s Palm Desert campus.
The Cathedral City native received a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology at the school’s Natural Sciences commencement, held May 20, at the Toyota Arena in Ontario,
according to a statement on the university’s website.
Ramirez, who is planning to be a pediatric physical therapist, plans to take a year to complete courses she needs to apply to a doctoral program in physical therapy. She will also work at Children’s Physical Therapy and Wellness in La Quinta as a rehabilitation assistant, according to the statement.
