The Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to host a candidates forum next month.
The event, which will be open to all seven city council candidates, will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4 at Central Park Community Center, 11200 Baseline Road, according to a statement.
Incumbents Sam Spagnolo and Lynne Kennedy along with the five challengers whose names will also appear on the city’s Nov. 8 ballot – Clarence Olson, Chris Salabaj, Amira Abdelmageed, Curtis Pitts and Erick Jimenez – have all been invited to attend, said Ernie Braunwalder, the chamber’s president and chairman.
A moderator will submit questions, all of which will be selected by a panel assigned by the chamber’s board of directors, according to the statement.
Anyone who wishes to may submit questions via email at [email protected]. Deadline to submit questions is Sept. 19.
The forum is free. For more information, or to RSVP as a guest or candidate, contact the chamber at (909) 987-1012 or visit the chamber’s website at ranchochamber.org.
