California Computer Options Inc., an IT support company in Redlands, has been sold.
The 25-year-old company was purchased recently by Executech, an IT services and cybersecurity provider, for an undisclosed sum, according to a statement.
California Computer Options, which has clients throughout Southern California, will continue to operate as an independent, stand-alone brand, and its workforce will remain in place.
“We are excited to join the Executech group and collaborate with their team,” said Brad McDermith, chief executive officer of California Computer Options, in the statement. “Through this partnership, we can provide more robust cybersecurity tools, cloud options, and broader geographical service to our local clients.”
This acquisition is the sixth major acquisition by Executech in the past year. It is partnered with Evergreen Services Group, a private-equity backed holding company in San Francisco, in those transactions.
Executech has offices in Seattle, Spokane, Roseville ,Ca. and South Jordan, Utah, according to the company’s website.
