A Dallas-based homebuilder will develop a 70-unit community in Ontario.
Landsea Homes recently closed escrow on the lots that will make up The Canopy at 1355 W. 5th St., according to a statement.
The community will be made up of three-story homes, with floor plans ranging from 1,532 to 1,739 square feet. They will have three to four bedrooms, and two and a half to four bathrooms.
Sale are expect to start during the fourth quarter of this year. Prices have not been announced.
“The closing on these homesites is an exciting milestone for our California division, where the Inland Empire continues to experience strong demand,” said Tom Baine, Landsea’s California division president, in the statement. “We are focused on continued expansion and delivering much-needed housing, to Southern California.”
Each home will include smart technology, including wireless network Internet, thermostat control, garage door opener control, light dimmer switches, and a video doorbell, according to the statement.
