A developer has announced plans to develop single-family homes on a 4.8-acre site in Upland.
The Landmark Co., which does business throughout Southern California, paid $6.5 million for the property at 1400 E. Arrow Highway near downtown Upland, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga.
Progressive helped negotiate the sale. Information regarding the property seller was not released.
Landmark and Century Communities in Colorado will develop Rose Glen, which will consist of 64 two-story single-family detached homes, all with attached two-car garages.
The project will include space for play areas, picnic tables, fitness stations and barbecues. Grading is expected to start next month, with the first phase of homes available during the second quarter of next year, according to Progressive.
