Residential development for sale

Residential land put on the market

A 70-acre parcel in Riverside County intended for residential development is for sale.

Stone Creek, at the southeast corner of Grand Avenue and Leon Road in the unincorporated Winchester, will accommodate 224 single-family homes, according to WD Land in Irvine.

The site includes a 5.7-acre park and 3.8 acres of open space. It has convenient access to Interstates 15 and 215 and the 79 Freeway and doesn’t require flood control facilities or a retention basin.

New homes in Winchester are selling briskly, mostly because not enough houses are being built in Temecula, Murrieta, French Valley, and Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties.

Offers are due by Sept. 1. The owner’s name was not disclosed.

WD Land is a brokerage company that arranges land sales for builders, developers, investors, and landowners. It operates from San Diego to Central California.
