Retail building sells for $3.2 million

A retail building at the Highland Village Shopping Center in Fontana has sold for $3.2 million.

The structure, occupied by Sit ’n Sleep, covers 8,400 square feet and is next to Sprouts Farmers Market, the shopping center’s anchor tenant, according to a statement released yesterday by Hanley Investment Group Real Estate Advisors.

The seller was Adler Realty Investments in Woodland Hills, which completed development of the shopping center two years ago. The buyer was a local private investor whose name was not released.

Hanley Investment has sold $30 million worth of retail properties at Highland Village, which is next to the  Foothill Freeway at Sierra Avenue in Fontana.

Besides Sprouts, which covers 30,000 square feet, Highland Village includes Jack in the Box, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Café Rio, Oggi’s Restaurant, Pacific Dental, Quick Quack Car Wash and Mountain View Tire & Auto Service.
