Retail property sells

The site of a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf restaurant in Rialto has sold for $2.8 million.

The property, at 1877 N. Riverside Ave., changed hands for $1,667 per square foot, according to a statement released by Hanley Investment Group Real Estate Advisors in Corona Del Mar.

Hanley Investment represented the seller, Fountainhead Development in Newport Beach. The  buyer, a private investor in Chatsworth whose name was not released, was represented by Capital Realty Solutions in San Fernando.

The drive-thru restaurant opened last week. It has a 15-year-lease on the site and is the only business located there, according to the statement.
