Angela Rivera has been appointed Menifee’s human resources director.
Rivera, who has more than 20 years experience in human resources, will lead the city’s efforts in talent acquisition and retention, labor relations, risk management, and emergency preparations, according to a statement on the city’s website.
“Angela’s expertise in human resources management will be a tremendous asset to the ongoing operations of our Human Resources Department, said City Manager Armando G. Villa in the statement.
Rivera most recently served as Corona’s chief talent officer. Before that she was Cal State San Bernardino’s director of employee and labor relations, and a human resources technician with Riverside County.
She began her career as a human resource special and recruiter for the U.S. Marine Corps., according to the statement.
