Riverside accounting firm adds shareholder

Michael Zermeño has been made a shareholder at RP&B CPAs in Riverside.

A 15-year employee, Zermeño works in the company’s accounting and audit department, where he helps private businesses review, audit and prepare financial statements, according to a statement.

He is particularly well versed in Employee Stock Ownership Plans, or ESOPs, in which a company provides its workforce with a percentage of ownership in the company.

RP&B CPAs has experienced “considerable growth” in ESOPs during the past several years, said Michael Kouyoumdjian, the company’s managing shareholder.

“Michael is a welcomed addition to our management team,” Kouyoumdjian said in the statement. “He has spent the past six years working with ESOP companies, assisting them before, during and after their transactions.”

RP&B CPAs is a full-service accounting firm with clients in the Inland Empire and throughout the United States, according to the statement.
