Riverside County library adds mobile vans

The Riverside County Library System has added two mobile resource vans to its inventory.

Library Connect, which began Tuesday, brings library and literacy services to communities in the county’s western and desert regions 365 days a year, according to a statement on the county’s website.

The expansion is being paid for with a grant from the California State Library. The exact amount was not disclosed.

Library Connect offers a learning lounge, family literacy programs, one-on-one and small group sessions for adults, book check-outs and other standard library services and Wi-Fi.
