Riverside County to hold tax sale

Riverside County’s Treasurer-Tax Collector Office will hold its annual tax sale, April 24-29.

This year’s sale, which will be assisted by Bid4Assets.com, will feature 389 properties with unpaid taxes worth a combined $8.35 million, according to a statement on the county’s website.

“This is an important process that we handle with the highest level of transparency,” said Matthew Jennings, the county’s treasurer-tax collector, in the statement. “By offering the sale online, we’re able to expand access, increase participation, and ensure a smooth, efficient process for bidders.”

Interested bidders must submit a refundable deposit of $5,000, plus a $35 processing fee, by April 21. Deposits must be made by wire transfer, certified check, or cashier’s check.

Bidders who do not have Internet access may contact Bid4Assets at (301) 650-9193 and request a bidding form.

For more information call the treasurer-tax collector at (951) 955-2952.
