Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson will deliver Riverside’s State of the City Address on Jan. 28.
The virtual event, scheduled to start at 5 p.m., will be a look back at 2020 and a look ahead to what’s in store for the city in 2021, according to a statement on the city’s website.
The program will also include honorees for the annual Beautification Awards, hosted by Keep Riverside Clean & Beautiful, and the Carlos E. Cortes Award for Championing Diversity and Inclusivity.
This will be Lock Dawson’s first State of the City address. She took over for Rusty Bailey, who stepped down in December after serving 13 years on the city council, including two terms as mayor.
The event can be seen on AT&T Ch. 99, Spectrum Ch. 3, and Frontier Ch. 21. It will also be available on the city’s Facebook page and on www.WatchRiverside.com.
