A national research organization has ranked San Bernardino County among the top counties in the United States for the use of technology.
The county tied for seventh with Westchester County in New York for best technology practices among counties with a population of one million or more, according to the Center for Digital Government and its associate, the National Association of Counties.
San Bernardino County improved from 10th in the 2022 survey.
“This year’s survey results highlight how counties use digital tools to respond to top priorities by providing access to services, expanding opportunities for economic development, and ensuring the ability to be resilient in the face of unexpected crisis,” said Todd Sander, vice president of CDG, In a statement.
San Diego County ranked sixth in the one million-plus population category, the only other California county listed in that group. Fairfax County, Va. ranked first.
In all, 50 counties were ranked based on their population.
