Ari Shapiro, host of National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered” news program, will deliver the 56th Annual Hays Press-Enterprise Lecture.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at 6 pm, April 21 at the University Theater at UC Riverside, according to a statement on the university’s website.
Shapiro has covered wars in Iraq, Ukraine, and Israel, and has reported from five continents and most of the 50 states. Before becoming an All Things Considered host in 2015, he was NPR’s international correspondent based in London.
The Hays Press-Enterprise Lecture Series was established in 1966 by the late Howard H (Tim) Hays, who was editor of The Press-Enterprise at the time, in collaboration with UC Riverside.
This year’s event is sold out.
