Smart & Final, the grocery warehouse chain, is opening a Smart & Final Extra! store in Temecula.
The 30,000-square-foot store at 32937 Temecula Parkway is scheduled to open April 24, according to a statement released March 1.
A Smart & Final Extra! store is about twice the size of a regular Smart & Final location. The company operates one other Smart & Final Extra! store in the Temecula Valley, in Murrieta.
The store’s regular hours of operation will be 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week. It will open at 7 a.m. April 24.
To mark the store’s opening, Smart & Final Charitable Foundation will present two $2,500 donations: one to Jacob’s House, which helps families facing a medical crisis, the other to Green Acres Interactive Therapy, an equine program designed to help children with mental health and behavioral issues.
Smart & Final is based in Commerce near Los Angeles. It is part of Chedraui USA, a grocery retailer with 24,000 team members and 378 store locations that operate under various names, including Smart & Final, El Super and Fiesta Mart.
