CVB Financial posts another solid quarter

Solid second quarter for CVB Financial

Ontario-based CVB Financial Corp. posted net earnings of $48.3 million during the quarter that ended June 30.

That compared with $51 million for the first quarter of 2026, and $50.6 million for the second quarter of 2025, the holding company of Citizens Business Bank reported.

Earnings per share were 29 cents during the second quarter, 38 cents in the first quarter and 37 cents per share one year earlier.

CVB Financial has now paid cash dividends to its shareholders for 147 consecutive quarters.

In April, CVB Financial completed its acquisition of Heritage Commerce Corp. including its banking subsidiary, Heritage Bank of Commerce.

Also during the second quarter, net interest income grew by $44.6 million, loans increased by $3.37 billion, and average total deposit and customer repurchase agreements increased by $3.60 billion, according to CVB Financial.
