Nominations are being accepted for the 2023 Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards.
The awards, presented by the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino, recognize the top businesses and business leaders in Riverside and San Bernardino counties during the past year.
Nominees are judged based on innovation, leadership, character, and entrepreneurial skills. All nominees must own or co-own the business, or be the manager or person most responsible for the company’s performance.
Self-nominations are accepted.
“We have many successful entrepreneurs in the region, and our students and community leaders need to know who they are,” said Mike Stull, director of the entrepreneurship center, in a statement. “I encourage the business community to nominate an entrepreneur so we can honor their achievements.”
The Spirit Awards is a black-tie event that attracts about 1,000 people. This year’s gathering is scheduled to be held Nov. 15 at the Riverside Convention Center.
