Starbucks eyes Temecula site

Starbucks could be adding a coffee shop in Temecula.

The Seattle-based company is considering putting one of its shops at the northwest corner of La Paz Road and Temecula Parkway, a site that could include a gas station and a retail store, according to a report in The Press-Enterprise.

The property owner wants to subdivide the site from four lots into five and then secure permits from the city to develop the site, the report stated.

The proposal is being reviewed by the city. That stretch of Temecula Parkway is one of the busiest thoroughfares in the city, according to the report.
