Starbucks site changes hands

A Fontana retail property occupied by a drive-thru Starbucks Coffee has been sold.

The 2,500-acre site at 17142 Slover Ave. sold for $3.1 million, according to a statement released by Faris Lee Investments, which negotiated the sale.

The seller was Puente Hills Power Center LLC, a private investment group. The buyer was Fata Organization LLC in New York.

Faris Lee represented both parties in the negotiations. The price broke down to about $1,268 a square foot.

The site is part of Palm Court Center, a 630,000-square-foot power center that includes Super Target, Ross, TJ Maxx and 24 Hour Fitness. A Kaiser Permanente facility, which employs about 500 people and attracts hundreds of visitors a day, is also located there, according to the statement.
