Ontario will host a statewide economic summit next year.
The 2015 California Economic Summit will be held Nov. 12-13 at a venue yet to be determined, according to a report in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.
Elected officials, members of the business community and representatives from various community organizations will discuss ways to create statewide prosperity and economic growth.
This will be the first time the conference will be held in the Inland region. Previous summits have been held in Los Angeles and Santa Clara, according to the report.
Regional meetings will be held statewide next year before the summit. The event is put on by the California Stewardship Network and California Forward, both of which work to improve the economy and make government more effective.
