Michael Reed has been promoted to vice president of real estate by Stater Bros. Markets.
Reed, who joined Stater Bros. two year ago as senior director of real estate and has held that position since, will report to Pete Van Helden, the company’s president and chief executive officer, according to a statement.
Before joining Stater Bros., Reed was real estate store development manager for Starbucks, working in the midwest and mountain west regions.
“Michael has done an outstanding job of leading our real estate and property management divisions,” said Jack H. Brown, Stater Bros.’ executive chairman, in the statement. “His management and proven real estate expertise will continue to help Stater Bros. meet present and future real estate needs.”
