The Temecula City Council is looking for three people to serve on the Old Town Local Review Board and two people to serve on the planing commission.
To be eligible for either position, one must be a Temecula resident and a registered voter when the application is submitted, according to a statement on the city’s website.
The Old Town Local Review Board meets once a month. It advises all city agencies on architectural themes and matters of historic significance in Old Town, and it also helps promote the district throughout the community.
The planning commission, which meets twice a month, advises the city council on zoning and code enforcement issues. It’s also in charge of updating the city’s general plan.
Applications are available at www.TemeculaCA.gov and at the city clerk’s office. They will be accepted until 5 p.m. March 31.
