The Temecula Planning Commission this week opened the door for one condominium project and postponed a decision on a similar development.
The commission on Wednesday approved a map change that will make possible a 69-unit condominium project on an empty piece of property near Vail Elementary School, according to a report originally published in The Press-Enterprise.
The vote was 4-0 with one commissioner absent.
During the same meeting, the commission delayed its vote on a 140-unit condominium project that would be built on the south of Pujol Street in Old Town. Commission members took that action after learning that local land-use attorney has identified at least 10 issues with environmental documents related to the project, according to the report.
