Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula hosted a preview night for The Cuvée Club on Saturday, March 7. Estimated to open in late 2015, The Cuvée Club will be an establishment inspired by the private supper clubs of the 1950s and 60s featuring chef-prepared dinners and brunches, complimentary wine and cabaret entertainment. The event was designed to give invited guests a preview of what the club will offer when it reaches enough memberships for a permanent opening.
“We currently have 20 founding members,” said managing partner Collin Rand. “For a 100% founding member funding option, we would require 128 founding members to join.” If a financier provided an angel investment, Rand said, the number of required memberships could be reduced to 50 or 60.
The preview night featured a four course dinner prepared by Chef Steve Stawinski with options that included wine country salad, craft raised salmon, filet mignon and lemon cheesecake parfait. Entertainment included cabaret singers, a jazz band and Virgil Gibson of The Platters. Addressing guests, Rand said, “To see you up here dancing and having a great time, that’s exactly what we envision for The Cuvée Club.” One guest purchased a founding membership following the event, and three more requested meetings to discuss membership options.
Founding partners are considering multiple Temecula sites for The Cuvée Club’s permanent location, which they hope will reflect similar establishments in Chicago and Washington, D.C. Those interested in learning more about founding member opportunities can contact Collin Rand at (714) 615-4568.
