One of the largest third-party logistics companies in the United States is planning to expand in the Inland Empire.
Unishippers Global Logistics LLC is looking to hire “qualified entrepreneurs” for 30 franchise opportunities that recently came back on the market in Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange and San Diego counties, according to a recent company statement.
Those franchises have been unavailable for more than 20 years.
The Salt Lake City-based company is already doing well in Southern California: it generated more than $450 million in revenue last year, and about 10 percent of that came from Southern California, Unishippers president Kevin Lathrop said.
“This is an exciting time for entrepreneurs [who are] eager to break into a thriving industry,” Lathrop said in the statement.
Founded in 1987, Unishippers provides logistics services to more than 50,000 small to medium-sized businesses through a network of nearly 300 franchises and affiliates.
