Third virus testing site for Moreno Valley

Moreno Valley residents can be tested for Coronavirus at the CVS Pharmacy, 26180 Iris Ave.

The drive-thru testing is for Coronavirus only, not antibodies, and is for people with Covid-19 symptoms or anyone in other high-risk categories, according to a statement on the city’s website.

“When we heard that CVS was beginning to offer testing at some locations, we reached out to the company and suggested opening a Moreno Valley site, and they responded right away,” Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez said in the statement.

Tests are available from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. seven days a week. The pharmacy is in the Lakeside Terrace Center.

Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment visit www.cvs.com/minuteclinic/covid-19-testing.

Moreno Valley has two other testing sites: Cottonwood Golf Center, 13671 Frederick St., and CrossWord Christian Church, 21401 Box Springs Road.
