Maribeth Tinio has been named Riverside city planner.
Tinio has nearly 20 years experience in planning, economic development and environmental analysis/compliance, according to a statement on the city’s website.
For the last seven years, Tinio was Stanton’s interim community and economic development director and planning manager. Before that, she was senior planner in Fullerton and Brea.
“Maribeth brings the highest level of problem solving, collaboration and customer care to everything she does, in addition to her experience and professionalism,” said Jennifer Lilley, community and economic development director, in the statement. “We are so fortunate to have her join the Riverside team.”
Tinio has helped assemble several major projects during her career including the Stanton Town Center Specific Plan and Brea’s Envisions Community Strategic according to the statement.
