Topgolf, the electronic driving range game, has opened in Ontario.
The facility, at 1050 N. Archibald Ave. in Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park, is the first in the Los Aneles area for the Dallas-based company, according to a statement.
“We are thrilled for the opportunity to connect with greater Los Angeles,” said Topgolf Chief Executive Officer Artie Starrs in the statement “We are excited to invite the community to come play golf with us, with the fun and energetic experience that people of all ages can only get at Topgolf.”
Founded in 2000 in Watford, UK, Topgolf is a driving range game played with electronic golf balls that score each shot. Now based in Dallas, Topgolf is a subsidiary of Callaway Golf Co., one of the largest golf club manufacturers in the world.
The Ontario venue is open air and has three levels. It features 102 climate-controlled outdoor hitting bays, an outdoor patio, rooftop terrace and private event space.
About 400 people will work there, according to the statement.
