A Dallas-based homebuilder will develop 144 townhomes in Ontario.
The neighborhood, Eave II, will be part of the Neuhouse masterplanned community, according to Landsea Homes Corp.
The project, which will be developed about two miles south of the Interstate 15/60 Freeway interchange, broke ground recently. Sales are expected to start in the fourth quarter. Prices have not been released yet.
“Ontario is an important market for us,” said Tom Baine, Landsea Homes’ Southern California division president, in a statement. “The new homes at Eave II will provide even more opportunities for first-time homebuyers looking to break into the Southern California housing market.”
The one, two and three-bedroom townhomes will range from 949 to 1,510 square feet, with gourmet kitchens and outdoor decks. The project will also have a community pool and a recreation center, according to the statement.
Landsea Homes has opened 344 townhomes in the Neuhouse project since its first phase opened in the spring of 2021, according to a company spokesperson who declined to be identified.
