Three Inland Empire universities have been recognized for their online Master’s in Public Health programs.
Cal State San Bernardino, Loma Linda University and Cal Baptist University in Riverside are among the best U.S. institutions of higher learning in that category, according to the Princeton Review, a New York company that provides tutoring, test preparation and other resources to prospective college students.
Approximately 140 colleges and universities nationwide were surveyed. Rankings are based on several factors, including how flexible they are for part-time students, how affordable they are and how well they provide access to the latest technology in public health.
Schools are not ranked from the best on down.
“We are excited to be included in The Princeton Review,” said Sastry G. Pantula, dean of the College of Natural Sciences at Cal State San Bernardino, in a statement. “The Masters Public Health is a high-growth area for jobs in California, and we are proud of our faculty, who are well-trained and certified to teach in various areas.”
