Ed reminds listeners that the housing market is such that it is an opportune time to buy, and explains the return on investment. He also advises first time homebuyers to avoid being hasty in submitting offers, and instead look at ten properties at the minimum.

Last week President Obama delivered a commencement speech at the prestigious West Point Academy and Ed compares the cadets’ reception of him to that of former President George W. Bush. The lack of applause for Obama was humiliating compared to the cheers Bush had received, and Ed also compares their respective speeches.

The exchange of Bowe Bergdahl and the release of five dangerous members of the Taliban detained in Guantanamo has caused an uproar nationwide, and Ed weighs in on the egregious illegal actions taken by Obama who didn’t abide by the Intelligence Authorization law he signed in 2012 which explicitly states Congress must be given 30 days notice before any proposed transfer of detainees from Guantanamo occurs. Ed concludes his segment with his endorsement of gubernatorial candidate Neel Kashkari and defends his role in TARP, the only government bailout Ed believes was necessary. He explains why we need someone like Kashkari sitting in Sacramento, and how bringing back basic economics will succeed in rebuilding California and creating jobs, which Kashkari intends to do.
