A drive-thru restaurant is under construction in Upland.
The project, at the northwest corner of Foothill Boulevard and Mountain Avenue, covers about 3,000 square feet and is in the main retail hub of the city, said Pablo Velasco, retail specialist with Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga.
The property is close to a Bank of America branch and several retailers, including Walgreens, Fantastic Sams and a Subway sandwich shop.
Construction on the $1 million project, the only available drive-thru site in Upland, is expected to be finished in about two months. Discussions with several prospective tenants are underway but no agreements have been signed, Velasco said.
