Valle joins Menifee Police Department

Less than three months before it’s scheduled to launch, the Menifee Police Department has hired its third lieutenant.

Abigail Valle, who has 16 years experience with the Huntington Park Police Department, joins Lieutenants Denise Keith and Heriberto “Eddie” Gutierrez, according to a statement on the city’s website.

Valle’s background includes patrol, gang task force operations, gang suppression task force, undercover narcotic take-downs and work as a public information officer. She has also overseen new recruits and hiring new personnel.

“We are excited to have Lieutenant Valle join the Police Department team and family,” said Chief Pat Walsh in the statement. “Valle has hit the ground running and has already proven to be a critical part of the team, making strides in gearing up for key programs that the department will roll out when we start in July.”
