Victorville is asking for volunteers to serve on its Homelessness Solutions Task Force, which will come up with way to reduce homelessness in the High Desert city.
The task force is made up of representatives from community stakeholder groups and city staff, according to a statement on the city’s website.
Vacant positions represent a variety of community stakeholder groups, including homeless services organizations, a school district, the business community and faith-based organizations.
Interested parties must submit the online application available on the city’s website no later than 5:30 p.m. March 16. The application, and a description of the Homelessness Solutions Task Force including a list of available positions, is posted at VictorvilleCA.gov/HSTF.
