Volaris, the Mexico City-based airline, is adding flights at Ontario International Airport.
The discount carrier, which offers twice-daily service between Ontario International and Guadalajara, will add 14 flights from Ontario International starting this summer, according to a statement on Ontario International’s website.
The new nonstop flights will fly to Los Cabos International Airport, León/Bajío International Airport in Guanajuato and Morelia International Airport in Michoacan.
The Los Cabos and Guanajuato flights will be offered three times per week starting July 4. The Michoacan flights will travel four times a week starting July 5.
Combined with its Guadalajara service, Volaris will operate 28 flights a week out of Ontario International.
Volaris’ Feb. 13 announcement marked the largest one-day expansion of international service in the history of Ontario International, according to the statement.
Ontario International accommodated 438,896 international travelers in 2024, the most in the airport’s history, according to the statement.
