Wingstop to land in MoVal

Wingstop, the aviation-themed restaurant that specializes in classic and boneless wings, will set up shop in Moreno Valley.

The Dallas-based chain has leased 1,400 square feet at the Towngate Promenade, 12620 Day St., and expects to open this summer, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga.

Progressive represented the landlord, Fritz Duda, in the negotiations. Lease terms were not disclosed.

Located next to Moreno Valley Mall, Towngate Promenade’s tenants includes Costco, Aldi, 24 Hour Fitness, The Habit, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, Applebees and Mimi’s Cafe. Within a five-mile radius of the mall, the average annual household income is $70,811, according to the statement.

Wingstop operates more than 1,500 restaurants in the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, according to the company’s website.
