Woolsey is new head of CSUSB’s career center

Roger Woolsey is the new executive director of Cal State San Bernardino’s Career Center.

A 25-year veteran of higher education, including 11 years of work in career services, Woolsey wants to increase the center’s visibility and its access to resources, alumni, employers, and community leaders.

Woolsey, who began work in August, also wants to install an interactive four-year career readiness program for students.

“First and foremost, we want to support our students with the very best services and programming possible to assist with reducing student uncertainty about life beyond Cal State San Bernardino,” Woolsey said in the statement.

The Cal State San Bernardino Career Center, which operates on the San Bernardino and Palm Desert campuses, helps students and alumni prepare for their post-graduate careers, according to the statement.
