WSS, the shoe store chain, has leased space at a Fontana shopping center.
The company, which operates more than 100 stores, has leased space at Foothill Plaza formerly occupied by Rite Aid, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga.
Progressive marketed the 92,000 square-foot property at 16910 Foothill Blvd. and represented both parties in the lease negotiations. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
WSS plans to open the store, its second in Fontana, next year.
Progressive, which specializes in small to medium-sized retail transactions, closed three other deals at Foothill Plaza within the past year. With the WSS agreement, the neighborhood shopping mall is fully leased.
Foothill Plaza is at Foothill Boulevard and Sierra Avenue, an intersection that accommodates nearly 60,000 vehicles a day. Other tenants include El Super, Smart & Final, Circle K, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Del Taco, H & R Block and Cricket Wireless.
Progressive has negotiated WSS leases in Victorville, Riverside, Perris and Indio within the last two years, according to a statement.
