States Bros. announces management change

Stater Bros. has named Keith Thomas its group senior vice president-retail operations.

A Stater Bros. employee for 38 years, Thomas will oversee day-to-day operations at the supermarket chain’s 172 stores, according to a statement.  

He will also become a member of Stater Bros.’ executive management committee, which evaluates and sets strategies for the San Bernardino-based company. 

Thomas will report directly to Stater Bros. President George Frahm.  His most recent position was senior vice president-retail operations.

“Keith is a well-respected and valuable member of our Stater Bros. family,” Frahm said in the statement. “Keith has consistently demonstrated a passion for the supermarket business in addition to stellar leadership skills.”

Stater Bros. is the largest private employer in the Inland Empire, with approximately 17,000 employees, according to the statement.
