Bryan Suits, a U.S. war veteran and talk-radio host, will serve as grand marshall of the 12th Annual Inland Empire Salute to Veterans Parade and Expo, scheduled to be held Nov. 18 in downtown Riverside.

Suits served in Bosnia, Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom, according to a statement.

In 1989, he enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve and served as a medic in Desert Storm. Suits  was deployed to Bosnia in 1998 as a member of the Oregon Army National Guard, and received his officer’s commission in 1992.

For more than 10 years, Suits has been a talk radio host in San Diego, Seattle and Los Angeles. He currently hosts a weekly Sunday show on KFI-AM, and is a regular contributor to Fox Business News.

The Salute to Veterans began in 2005 and regularly attracts several thousand participants. The parade honors veterans of all ages, according to the statement.
