SB shopping center sells

A shopping center in San Bernardino that is anchored by a 7-Eleven store has been sold.

The property, at 1935 S. Waterman Ave., sold for $3.2 million in an all-cash exchange, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners.

Progressive Real Estate represented the buyer, a private investor in Orange County whose name wasn’t released.

The retail center, which includes a Chase Financial ATM and an open retail pad, covers 4,200 square feet. It’s next door to the Tri-City Corporate Centre, a Class-A office complex, and is surrounded by high-end retailers, restaurants and hotels, according to the statement.

The shopping center is in the center of San Bernardino’s main business district, at Waterman Avenue and Hospitality Lane. That intersection has a daily traffic count of more than 70,000 vehicles, according to the statement.

Rancho Cucamonga-based Progressive Real Estate specializes in the sale and leasing of retail properties in the Inland Empire. The company has completed more than 500 transactions since it was founded in 2008 , according to the company’s website.
