Stater Bros. holds three grand reopening

Stater Bros. held grand re-openings this week at three stores, each of them outside the company’s Inland Empire base.

Locations in Lake Forest, Palmdale and Lancaster all went through major interior upgrades and added offerings, including improved wine and sushi, before being reintroduced to the public, according to a statement on the company’s website.

Stater Bros. made a $2,500 donation to a charity in each market, which is its custom when it opens or reopens a store.

All three stores remained open during the renovations.

Based in San Bernardino, Stater Bros. is the largest private employer in the Inland Empire, with roughly 17,000 employees, and the largest privately owned supermarket chain in Southern California, according to the statement.
