A High Desert hospital is now accepting Kaiser Permanente members admitted to the hospital and need inpatient, overnight medical care.
Kaiser Permanente San Bernardino County has agreed to provide physicians from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, according to a statement released by the medical insurance provider.
Sound Physicians, a partner at St. Mary Medical Center like Kaiser Permanente, is providing overnight coverage.
“We are pleased to expand our high-quality health care in the High Desert,” said Ruby Gill, senior vice president with Kaiser Permanente and its area manager in San Bernardino County, in the statement. “This organized effort with Providence St. Mary Medical Center ensures continuity of care throughout the hospital stay of our members.”
Kaiser Permanente serves nearly 700,000 members in San Bernardino County. More than 13,000 physicians and staff care for patients at two hospitals and 20 medical office buildings throughout the county, according to the statement.

THEY ALSO NEED SPECIALTY OFFICES UP HERE LIKE PAIN MANAGEMENT, DERMATOLOGY, PHYSICAL THERAPY, MENTAL HEALTH CENTER. RHEUMATOLOGIST, EAR, NOSE AND THROAT SPECIALIST, OBGYN WITH PAP SPECIALIST, AND SLEEP CLINIC. PLLLEEAASSSEEE 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏⁉️
I’m already a Kaiser member. I went there as an emergency patient regarding new pneumonia. I was completely satisfied. This was in 2024.
Yes they do need ther own hospital up here n were goin to but the City probably is the problem! Here! N Hesperia is big enough for it n have the clinics for it! So get off your high horse City of Hesperia n let them build thr hospital here across from the clinic we have!! An definitely enough property for it!!!
