Stater Bros. on Wednesday marked the grand reopening of six supermarkets.
The stores – at 550 Hidden Valley Parkway in Corona, 14466 Main Street in Hesperia, 78630 Highway 111 in La Quinta, 78210 Varner Road in Palm Desert, 1271 N. State Street in San Jacinto and 24336 El Toro Road in Laguna Woods in Orange County – all feature updated outdoor signs with the new Stater Bros. logo, according to a statement on the company’s website.
Each location now features fresh-cut fruit, expanded wine and beer sections and handcrafted sushi. Interior upgrades include laminated floors and energy-efficient LED lighting.
All six stores will operate from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week.
“We’re committed to meeting the needs of our valued customers, taking care of our loyal employees and supporting our local communities,” said Pete Van Helden, Stater Bros.’ chief executive officer, in the statement. “These grand reopenings deliver the message that we’re a competitive force in this marketplace and we’re here to stay.”
