Inland AYSO league receives grant

Perris’ AYSO chapter has received a $5,000 donation from a local developer.

The money, which was presented by IDI Logistics at a recent ceremony at Morgan Park, will be used to help the Perris AYSO-Region 544 soccer league stay afloat, according to a statement on the city’s website.

“This is what we are here for: the kids,” said AYSO league commissioner Andy Echeverry in the statement. “We have over 700 kids and we want to grow and hire some coaches to help them out, so this is going to go a long way.”

IDI Logistics develops and manages logistics projects nationwide. The company has a history of speculative development, build-to-suits and value-add acquisitions, having developed more than 100 business parks and 750 warehouses in its 30-year history, according to the statement.
