Stevens named to CSUSB philanthropic post

Adrian Paul Stevens has been appointed Cal State San Bernardino’s associate vice president for philanthropic giving.

Stevens, who will also oversee campus fundraising, is scheduled to begin March 1.

“I am honored to join Cal State San Bernardino at this important time, to partner with the academic leadership, alumni, friends and staff as we collaborate to enhance philanthropy and the vitality of the region,” Stevens said in a statement.

Stevens has spent nearly 30 years working with individual donors, corporations and foundations. From October 2005 to November 2008 he was development director at Cal State San Bernardino’s College of Education, where he helped raise $4.1 million for its tools for education program.

He is currently senior director of development at UC Riverside’s School of Business, according to the statement.
